Biography

Growing up, his Uncle George, a Hollywood Mariachi, gave Carlos his first guitar.
When living in Caracas, Venezuela as a child, he was exposed to the great composers Bach, Beethoven, Mozart etc. and also a great deal of Latin
American Music genres. Later, his interests turned to progressive rock groups, heavy jazz as well as electronic music that was popular at that time.
Carlos studied classical guitar at the University of Texas and Jazz and electronic music composition at Southwest Texas State. He was introduced to Classic Guitar Masters like Roland Dyens, Andres Segovia, John Williams, Elliot Fisk and others. He became a musician to make music for spiritual enlightenment. His mind is open to World Music after acquiring a Sitar during college. For many years, he traveled Mexico collecting crystals and having life experiences in the dessert.
He is happy to return to his roots and make San Miguel de Allende his forever home. He has played weddings, private events, small venues, and home concerts. He is currently a solo musician that tunes to 444hz to provide the best vibration of love and harmony. Carlos aspires to performing at intimate and concert venues across Mexico.
