Friends since childhood, Alfred Hubert Thomson is a renowned multi-instrumentalist. A former member of the legendary band Irakere, he also served as musical director for the iconic singer Omara Portuondo.
Ricardo Benítez, one of Cuba’s greatest flutists, has been based in Mexico for over 36 years, forging a distinguished solo career with three acclaimed albums: Charanguero, PaMalanga, and Danzoneando.
