"El Pueblo Festivo" y "Mitos y Leyendas del Norte de México" - Presentación de Libros

Wednesday March 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Event Description

Presentation of the books by Homero Adame.

About the author: Homero Adame is a renowned writer and researcher of Mexican folklore, specializing in myths, legends, and popular traditions. His works have been fundamental for the preservation of the oral heritage of northern Mexico.

We invite you to a fascinating talk where the author will share his experiences and discoveries about the cultural richness of Mexico.

Homero Adame has published more than 30 books, 20 of which explore the topic of oral tradition (legends, myths, oral history, anecdotal stories, orality). That is why he is known as "the legendary man" or the "archaeologist of collective consciousness", a nonexistent profession invented for him because, more than fitting him "like a glove" or "like a ghost in the cemetery", it suits him as a "story excavator". And today he presents to us his most recent works: Myths and Legends of Northern Mexico, for which he included a legend from San Miguel, and The Festive Town, his first novel.
