Biography

Felecia Ford's singing career has taken her across seas and to almost every state in the US, singing in many of the most prestigious theaters in America as well as many famously acclaimed rock venues. Her voice and music have been heard with her band Hundred Year Flood in over 157 countries over the air worldwide charting on Americana stations in the US and abroad. She's shared the stage and shows with some of her favorite artists like Dolly Parton (the Queen..” Dolly and I among other performers entertained Governor Anne Richards at her huge inauguration gala in an Austin convention center, pretty cool. Felecia handed her cordless mic off to Dolly and Dolly told her, ” honey don’t you ever stop singing with a voice like that.”
Willy Nelson (the King), Dave Alvin (that voice), James McMurtry (those words), Charlie Sexton (Arch Angels and guitarist for Bob Dylan/that smile ;)) and for 20,000 at Zozobra opening for Ozomatli, SunVolt (Jay Farrah/Uncle Tupelo) and many more.
Multi-platinum record producer John Kurzweg said it best recently, “One word that comes to my mind when thinking of Felecia is fire; she always brings 110% to the stage.”
She performs with Hundred Year Flood ( 6 albums) In the states. They were just recently recorded live a 1.5 hour set of original on Purple Bee TV ( Volente,Tx./out out by Austin TX.
Felecia moved to San Miguel de Allende several years ago and has put together a great supporting band including, Bill Kavanagh-bass/guirar and Israel Chavez Dominguez-Drums and Carlos Vargas on keyboards, Rodrigo Vargas on Lead guitar, Edgar Bord on bass/guitar, all on vocals!
