Biography

Pianist, composer, producer and teacher.
Composition, world rhythms, jazz heritage and the search for his own voice as an improviser are at the heart of his artistic pursuit and what motivates him to lead his own ensembles such as the Original Bassless Quartet, Papacho Sirdey Trio, Confabulación Sonora and his very recent project of songs "...de Amor y de Sueño" as a composer and producer.
His solid education (Escuela Nacional de Arte, Cuba, American School of Modern Music, Paris and a degree in Jazz at University of Montreal) and multicultural background have lead him to live and perform in Cuba, France, Canada, Mexico and Spain sharing the stage and recording artists such as Rodrigo Simoes (Brazil), Sonia Johnson (Canada ), Olivier Babaz (France).
